Member Subscriptions are due each year (renewed on the anniversary of joining).
Student membership is $25 per year.
Memberships must be paid prior to the AGM for your vote to count!
An additional $10 per annum per member is required for Public Liability Insurance costs.
Casual members can pay $5 per rehearsal, Full members are required to pay $2 per rehearsal attended in addition to the annual subscriptions & insurance costs.
President
Valerie Staunton
President since the 2011 AGM, following the retirement of outgoing president, Gordon Hartley. Valerie stepped into the role of President following 2 years as the band's secretary and committee member.
Valerie plays the tenor saxophone in the band.
Treasurer
Ann Staunton
Ann has been secretary since 2011 and had previously spent some time as Secretary in the early years of the band reforming. Ann has played the Bass Clarinet in the band but now plays the alto saxophone.
Music Director
Bill Kannussaar
Bill Kannussaar is the band's Music Director. Bill is a well established musician who has taught music in schools, plays the saxophone, clarinet, keys... you name it! A very talented musician & teacher supportive of community involvement.
