About the Band

The Port Lincoln City Band Inc is a non profit community band that reformed in 2003 after a 15 year recess, to bring back live community music to Port Lincoln and surrounding districts.
The band has grown from 7 members in 2003 to currently 19 active members.
Regular performances include community events such as ANZAC and Remembrance Day services, Australia Day ceremony & citizens breakfast, Tunarama and Relay for Life, and Christmas Carols. The band plays in concert alone and with other community organisations including the Port Lincoln Singers, and Sing Australia. Choosing to play a variety of music styles to suit as many tastes as possible.

PLCB aims to provide music and entertainment to the community and fun opportunities, for it's members, to perform and develop as musicians and community members.
Developing releationships with local schools encourage students to continue their music learning and performances beyond their schooling.
